Welcome to Don and Carol's Home Page, we hope you enjoy it. Please sign our guest book and please come back often. We live in the town of Sierra Vista in southeastern Arizona. Although it is not a border town, we are very close to the Mexican border. |

We came to this area the first time in 1969, when Don was assigned to Fort Huachuca. We kept coming back, and when he retired, Sierra Vista became home for the family. The girls no longer live in Sierra Vista, but all three of them are still in Arizona. |
This is a view of the Huachuca Mountains. This photo was taken about three miles south of our home. The elevation of Miller Peak, the highest peak in the Huachuca Mountains, is 9,466 feet. |

Sierra Vista is in Cochise County. The town of Tombstone, the town too tough to die, is about 20 miles from our home. It is the location of the shootout at the OK Corral (Click here to see Shootout at the OK Corral). To the northeast is the town of Willcox which it the home of cowboy singer Rex Allen. To the northwest is the town of Tucson. About two miles from our home is the gate to Fort Huachuca, which is the home of the Army Intelligence Center and School, and the Army Information Systems Command (Signal Corps). |
